Insights: your shooting habits at a glance

Open Insights using the icon at the top right of the Library grid. Insights uses data from your whole library, regardless of the folder or filters currently selected.

Everything is calculated on your computer from your catalog. Nothing is uploaded.

Navigate Insights

Insights has two screens: Your rhythm and Your style. Use ← and → to switch between them, and press Esc to close.

Use the year selector to view a specific year or choose All time.

Your rhythm

The calendar shows when you took photos, year by year. Days with more photos appear in a stronger color.

Hover over a day to see its photo counts and the gear you used. Click the day to pin its card, then choose Show in library to open that day's photos in the grid.

Your style

This screen summarizes your shooting and editing patterns:

• Your color signature — a wheel showing the colors you've moved your pins toward. It builds up as you grade more photos.
• Your most-used focal length — along with your most-used camera body, lens, aperture, and ISO.
• Your busiest hours — the times of day you take photos.
• From capture to export — a comparison of one focal length's share of your captured, edited, and exported photos.
• Your go-to film simulation — your most-used Fujifilm film simulation.
• Where you shoot — cities identified from your photos' GPS data. Locations are resolved on your computer.

Tiles appear only when there's data to show. Your color signature may be nearly empty until you've graded some photos.

Export counts start with Tone Caliper 1.0. Until you have recorded exports, the comparison tile shows captured and edited photos under the title From capture to edit.

Save a card

Click Save image to save square PNG images for sharing. Your rhythm saves as one calendar image; Your style saves each tile as a separate image.

Saved cards contain no file names or folder paths. The location tile is excluded.
